Well log services are provided using our Diplomat™ Wellman
and Diplomat™ Logman software,
together with our transcription and digital data recovery expertise, scanning capabilities and technical knowledge of well log data.
Wellman is used for well log digitising. Wellman includes an automatic curve tracking algorithm with a manual digitising option when required.
Quality control is achieved by overlaying the digital data against the scanned images of the paper logs.

Other well log services include:
- analysing databases,
- cataloguing tapes and paper data,
- identifying and eliminating duplicate tapes,
- QC and repairing damaged tapes,
- comparing digital data with scanned images of logs,
- scanning and OCR of reports,
- editing and compositing of curves,
- reformatting from any well log format to industry standards,
- conversion of VSP data to SEGY.
Output of digital data can be in industry standard formats including LIS, LAS and DLlS.
DPTS has wide experience of dealing with both conventional and "Russian" style logs.
