In May 2000 DPTS were awarded a contract from PGS Exploration for remastering BP Amoco tapes and creating index files for registering the data into a PetroBank system. During the first year of the contract over 100,000 tapes have been remastered and the following letter has been received from PGS:

Dear Alan, Having now reached somewhat of a milestone I thought it would be appropriate to express my gratitude and satisfaction concerning the BP Amoco re-mastering project. Over 100,000 tapes have now been successfully transcribed to 3590 cartridges along with index files for registering the data onto the PetroBank system. This was always going to be a challenging project and I have been extremely impressed with the way the Project Team has handled this difficult assignment.
