The contract involved the recovery, reformatting and transcription
of seismic, well log, navigation, gravity and magnetic data
from 1974 to the present day. Over 46,000 tapes, cartridges
and optical disks have been transcribed to 3590 cartridges
or CD-R, in industry-standard formats over a 12 month period
in Rabat.

DPTS used the Diplomat Transcription software for the project
and Diplomat MultiStore to catalogue the tapes transcribed.
At the end of the project, the MultiStore database and a complete
transcription system, including the Diplomat Transcription
software was delivered to ONAREP, thus enabling them to provide
ongoing management services for their data.
