Cataloguing and scanning services are offered by DPTS for all types of documents, including Observers Logs and reports. The images are archived so that they are preserved and readily available for future reference.

Large documents such as maps, drawings, seismic sections and well logs can be scanned regardless of size. Both black and white and colour documents can be handled.

All standard output formats are available.

DPTS offer digitising services for seismic sections, maps and well logs, including Dipmeter and "Russian" style logs.

The seismic section digitising software algorithm includes tracking of peaks and troughs, restoration of clipped peaks, and interpolation of trough values if no troughs are displayed, for total waveform reconstruction.
  
Digital image editing, including timing line removal, and raster image editing facilities are also available. Basic processing of the digital data, including filtering, mute, AGC, trace mixing and trace interpolation, may be performed. Output of digital data may be in SEGY or any workstation format.

Well log services are provided using Diplomat Wellman.

Wellman includes an automatic curve tracking algorithm with a manual digitising option when required. Quality control is achieved by overlaying the digital data against the scanned images of the paper logs to ensure the integrity of the digitising.

Ouput of the digital data can be in any industry-standard format including LIS, LAS and DLIS.

DPTS has wide experience of dealing with both conventional and “Russian” style logs.
