Diplomat Copy is a flexible, powerful and fast copying program for data held on media types commonly found in the oil & gas exploration industry.

Diplomat Copy includes an “intelligent” copy feature for SEGY and SEGD data that allows onscreen plots of the data to be viewed during copying and which extracts index information from tape headers for updating databases and Databanks.

No knowledge of the input format is required.

All common media devices may be used as input or output, including 9-track tape, 3480, 3490E, 3590, 3592, 4mm, 8mm, DLT, SuperDLT, LTO, DVD and USB disk.

An audit trail is maintained of all files copied and any errors encountered.
